I love VC Andrews books. I was hesitant to start a new series, but this one I could not put down. This is the second on in the series about Dawn Cutler, a girl with a sordid past she knew nothing about. I do not want to give away spoilers, but it is captivating. It has a solid story line and keeps you on edge to find out what will happen next. I know these are generally classified as young adult books, but I am almost 30 and I love them. I wouldn't recommend a lot of these books for a younger audience that might not fully understand what is going on with some parts.

Great book won't put it down till u are finished with it! All VC Andrew's books are non-stop reads! Especially this series! I have purchased every one of them and read over and over again
I wasn't surprised at all at how good this book would be. The twists and turns keep you on the edge of your seat and wanting to read more. Now on to the next chapter of Dawns life with Jimmy and her daughter.

Oh Dawn! Not my favorite v c Andrews character, but the story is follows the theme of many of the V C Andrews books. I just wish dawn wasn't so whiney.
I have collected every book by this author, starting with flowers in the attic. I love the story telling, Every book tells me my life's been pretty good. Even though the character's go through bad times, there's always a light at the end of the tunnel.
Enjoy the second in the series of the Cutler family. Follow Dawn as she grows and learns more of her family. The end will be worth it.
Excellent second book in the cutler series. This is an amazing series, even better than flowers in the attic in my opinion. If you are a mega vc andrews fan who is unsure about reading the books that the ghostwriter has done or just hasn't gotten to read the cutlers I highly recommend it. There is so much suspense, hopefulness, dark gothic horror and drama and romance in this book. It is amazing!
