I forgot how much I loved Suzanne Brockmann's storytelling! I haven't read this series, although I've read other stories she's written.
As usual Suzanne puts together a great cast of characters. The two main characters are multi dimensional no shortcuts to the happy ever after. Great tension believable conflict and a fun story.
I had to giggle a bit because this was written when tape decks and pay phones were common and now it's cell phones and CDs 😊

I thoroughly enjoyed this book. Although, I'm not surprised as I love all of Suzanne Brockman's books She is such a fantastic writer. Her stories just pull you into them and you become so emotionally invested, I absolutely hate when they end.
A wonderful well paced story that keeps you engaged and interested in the characters. Well worth your time and money!
I read this book before and I enjoyed reading it again. Makes you think about the men and women who are protecting our country! It is also a good love story.

Yes this is has a a fluffy side as in some of the military actions/responses are not by the book but that aside a writer must make the story enjoyable and she did. Well written, well edited loved the base of the story its believable. I also fell a little in love with Prince Joe. Yeah it's worth it, read it.
This book was wonder the first time I read it when it first was release. I enjoyed Joe and Veronica's story it was wonderful and suspenseful.
The story was well done, and it was fun. What I really appreciate is the way the hero and heroine got to know each other and respect and admire each other on their way to falling in love. It wasn’t just about sexual attraction. The hero is oh so competent and is strong in the good male traits like courage, strength, caring about the welfare of others, perseverance, honor, and discipline. Also has warmth, humor, and intelligence.
